Kaya released a new DVD on the 17th of April. As far as I know it's only being sold at Like an Edison (comes with bonus sticker and Kaya also held an instore) and for us foreign fans Hora would be responsible to ship these out (came with bonus cd containing a piano and live version of Memento Mori). Beforehand Kaya announced that the bonus cd would be signed, it was not. (Kaya and Hora must really have their heads in the clouds since Hora forgot to sign the bonus photos for his COCYTUS aswell).
The DVD was a bit expensive thinking about the fact that it only includes 6 PVs, but since TABOO and Memento Mori haven't been officially released I felt like I needed this to my collection.
So, most of the PVs we've already seen, and I have to say Marionette may have been a pretty PV, I love when Kaya sits tied up like a doll, it's an amazingly boring song. It's when I hear songs like that I really miss and hope Kaya will go back to the Glitter sound.
The DVD had a very pretty menu though, check out the screencap below.
On the other hand, TABOO is in my opinion one of his strongest songs ever (well, I think Ken Morioka makes awesome music so no wonder) and the PV was really awesome. I know Kaya's thing is that he's always portraiting a woman but I do find his more male appearances more interesting. Also, who does not agree he looks like Hora from the Perfect Garden single? Kaya has such an interesting face. Love his bone structure.
The last PV was Memento Mori and it was regular, Kaya/enjoyable standard. Again I loved his androgyne look.
As for the bonus CD, it was nice but I prefer the original song. In slower ones I tend to think it sounds like Kaya's holding back, it doesn't sound as natural as he normally sings, which is sad. But also to me, what I really like about Kaya's music is that most of the time it's fast, electronic, almost a bit pop, something you don't find that often in the VK scene.
Shipping for this was 1000yen (with SAL), so go on Hora's webpage and order it. You will want to see the PV's!
